❓ FAQ

Why is understanding these terms useful?

Scam scripts are highly similar. Hearing terms like "pay an unfreezing fee to withdraw," "custodial account," or "help receive payments" lets you immediately identify and stop.

I've been scammed and the money is already sent. Can I still get it back?

Speed is key. Once the stolen money enters the laundering operation, it's transferred out in layers. The sooner you report it and ask your bank to freeze the funds, the higher the chance of interception. Call the 165 anti-fraud hotline immediately and contact the sending bank. Don't waste time confirming with the other party first.

I just lent my account to someone else to receive money. Is that also a problem?

Yes. Once your account is involved in fraudulent money flow, it will be flagged as a warning account. Your other accounts may also be restricted, and you may be held liable for aiding fraud. You should reject any invitation that says 'lend your account for a commission.'

How do I confirm whether an investment platform or broker is legitimate?

Rely on the competent authority's list, not the platform's own claims or license images on its website. Check the Financial Supervisory Commission-approved financial institution list and the Market Observation Post System, and make sure the download source is the official app store.
